JayDean chose teaching fiddle music as her profession because she enjoyed being involved in the preservation of old time fiddling. For the last 25 years, she has taught a wide variety of ability levels in the art of old time fiddling. JayDean currently teaches nearly 100 students.

Ludiker Music is dedicated to producing outstanding instructional materials for the fiddle. Our most popular books are "Learn to Play Fiddle" (Volume 1) and "Learn to Play More Fiddle Tunes" (Volume 2). The newest addition is "Old Time Fiddle Tunes Our Dads Played." The books include tablature and musical notation side by side, accompaniment chords, and a CD that can be cued for fiddle alone, guitar accompaniment alone, or both together.
